ANGLO-SAXON LYRE
Reproduction of the 6-string lyre found in the excavation of the tomb of an Alamanni nobleman who died around the year 580, in the current city of Trossingen (Germany).
The instrument can be built as a body made out from single piece of wood, to which the harmonic top is glued, or as an empty frame to which the top and back are glued. Likewise, I offer variations of the instrument with 7 strings.

Romanesque 13-string harp based on the miniature from the Shaftesbury Psalter (England, 12th century).
The body, the pillar and the headstock are made of maple. The pegs are made of iron and are hammer-formed.
