Neck and sides from a single piece of ash. Spruce top. Ash back with pauferro spacers. Bridge made of pear and pauferro. Fingerboard and head made of pauferro.
Finished with oil-based varnish.

4-string medieval fiddle based on Bonaiuto paintings.
Cherry neck, sides and back, selected spruce top with cherry inlays. Pegs handcarved of boxwood in the shape of "bollock-dagger" style.
Finished with oil and strung with whole gut.

HIJOS DE GONZÁLEZ GUITAR (1894 - 1912)
Guitar built in the workshop of "Hijos de González", between 1894 and 1912 (label Calle Carretas, 33 - Madrid).
Cypress back and sides. Spruce top with soundhole decorated with ebony and mother-of-pearl. Cedar neck. Rio rosewood pegplate. Ebony fingerboard. Mahogany bridge with fretwork in the fins.
The instrument has been restored several times but (except for the frets) all the elements are original and it is in perfectly playable condition.
The action at the 12th fret is 3.5mm.
