Restoration of a French cello nut of a bow

The nut was badly damaged due to a bad screw adjustment and poor handling. The restoration was developed as follows:
-Cleaning and grinding of both sides of the channel.
-Glue of two pieces of ebony.

Vertical Divider

-Recomposition of the external shape of the nut and interior of the channel.
-Adjusting and gluing the silver skate.
-Pulido of the set.
-Installation, rectification and lubrication of the socket and the screw.

-Instalación de guarnición nueva con hilo de plata entorchada sobre seda y piel de reptil reciclada.
-Encerdado del arco.
