MEDIEVAL BOWS

Here I present some models of bows that I make to be used with different bowed string instruments. They are based on a multitude of iconographic sources paying attention to the curvature of the stick, flexibility, weight and balance. They are haired with natural horsehair with fixed but removable frog.
Stick length: 75cm.
Practical length of hair: 60cm.
Weight: ±40gr for soprano or alto instruments, ±60gr for bass instruments.
