This frog was very worn because a bad screw adjustment and bad handling. Final work above. The restoration was developed in the following way:
- Shaving and rectifying of both channel sides. - Gluing both ebony pieces. - Re-carving the frog outer shape and inside the channel - Adjusting and gluing the silver slide. - General polishing. - Installation, rectifying and greasing the eyelet and screw. - New wrapping with silver-wound silk thread and recycled reptile leather. - Bow rehairing with mongolian horse hair.
